Meeting Kids Where They Are
Our philosophy in the Learning Lab is to meet kids where they are and help them reach their full potential. Our services include early intervention and screening for struggling yound students, remediation for students diagnosed with Dyslexia, and extra assistance in the classroom during if necessary. We do not offer diagnostic services, but can refer students to reputable outside testing facilities.
At CTCS, we desire to make kingdom education accessible
to as many students as possible.
Fee: $400 per year
A program designed to assist students in grades K-2 who need a little extra attention with reading and may include students at-risk for reading difficulty due to a family history or other issues. The goal of this program is to give young students the extra help they may not otherwise get in the classroom before they are old enough to be evaluated for other services.
Fee: $600 per year
A two-year program for students diagnosed with dyslexia or other related reading disorders. Diagnosis by a qualified diagnostician is required. While CTCS does not have a diagnostician on staff, we can refer students to both fee based and non-fee bases services.
Fee: $400 per year
During the remediation process students sometimes need additional classroom support.. We realize students accepted into the content mastery program have diagnosed learning disabilities and our goal is to help them be successful int eh classroom despite their diagnosis. This may include reading tests aloud, transcribing answers, or giving one on one or small group instruction. Our goal is to come alongside the classroom teacher to see the students receive the accommodations they need.
