WE ARE OPEN MONDAY - FRIDAY FROM 7:40 A.M.- 4:00 P.M.
Overdue, Lost, or Damaged Books
No fines are charged for overdue books. However, students may not check out new books if they have an overdue. Once a book is 30 days overdue, it will be considered lost. At that time, replacement fees will be billed to the parent's account. Please note that all replacement fees are final. Fees will not be refunded if a book is found and returned at a later date. All library materials must be returned at the end of the school year before report cards and final grades will be sent home.
Birthday Book Club
The Birthday Book Club is a way for you to celebrate your child's birthday by donating a book to the CTCS Library in honor of your child's special day. The book you select will have a personalized bookplate in it and your child will be the very first person to check out the book. Order forms are sent home at the beginning of each month.
Reading Counts
Reading Counts is a lexile based independent reading program by Scholastic that combines reading practice and software-based reading assessment. Students from 2nd grade through 5th grade acquire points as they successfully take Reading Counts quizzes. With these points, students earn special prizes and rewards. Prizes and reading requirements vary according to grade level.
