CTCS offers the following extracurricular activities:
Boys - Football, Basketball, Baseball, Track, TAPPS Speech and Academic Teams, Lion Leadership, and 4H
Girls - Volleyball, Basketball, Track, Cheerleading, TAPPS Speech and Academic Teams, Lion Leadership, and 4H
At CTCS we believe strongly in the importance of extracurricular activities in the school life of a student. We believe also that God desires a balance in our lives. Students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities as enrichment to their high school experience and as an important component of their overall education.
To be eligible to participate in extracurricular activities, the student must be passing (70 or above) in all classes.* Each quarter, students are evaluated every three weeks for eligibility. Ineligible students who have improved their grades to at least a 70 in all classes may regain eligibility at three or six-week checkpoints, or at the end of the quarter
*Academic team and competitive cheerleading will follow the TAPPS eligibility rules due to the limited and sporadic nature of the competitions.
