Mrs. Becky Daugherty joined the CTCS Faculty in 2009. Under her leadership, the choir program seeks to develop life long musical skills by learning music from many genres and musical eras in a variety of settings.
The CTCS High School Choir, Vocal Point, is made up of:

These groups had the opportunity to perform at the TAPPS Regional Choir Competition in Austin in March 2012.
TAPPS Regional Choir Competition Results:
Men's Ensemble and Ladies Ensemble scored a superior rating and will be competing at state.
Emily Baker, soloist, scored a superior rating and will be competing at state.
Vocal Point Show Choir and the Ladies Pop Ensemble scored an excellent rating.
The students will travel to the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor for the State Competition, Saturday, April 14th.

Grandparent's Day
The CTCS 7th & 8th grade Choir students take 1 semester of Choir and 1 semester of Art. In addition to performing a Spring Concert, the 7th & 8th grade choirs also perform a Christmas Concert and perform for Grandparent's Day.
