Our volleyball program consists of Middle School, Junior Varsity and Varsity teams. The Lady Lion Volleyball program is one that my staff and I are extremely passionate about. Not only do we enjoy motivating and challenging these young ladies physically; we have such an extraordinary opportunity to invest in their lives spiritually.
We all know that the principles of “team” and the results of being a part of the “team” are helpful in life. I firmly believe that the most valuable aspect of being an athlete in this program is that we motivate and challenge these young ladies spiritually. We boldly proclaim the gospel and use Scripture in addressing and handling life issues whether on the court or off.
We firmly believe that this is our mission field. We know that we are called not only to teach this game, and to compete without compromise; but to walk along these young ladies spiritually. To assist in equipping them with the gospel, to live as the body of Christ, to then make the Lord’s name known while here and in the world.
He is powerful; He is faithful; He is enough!
