Varsity / Competitive Cheer
CTCS Varsity Cheerleading provides high school girls the opportunity to develop their athletic skills and teamwork, and teaches Christ-like service and Godly character through serving the student body and athletic teams throughout the year. The cheerleaders lead the fans at football and basketball games, organize and perform at pep rallies, coordinate the Lil' Lion Cheer Clinic, and raise funds through the Sideline Sweeties - an opportunity for our younger girls to cheer alongside the team at designated games. Team members attend tumbling classes and after-school practices to perfect their skills.

FCC Staff - Several CTCS cheerleaders have been selected to FCC Staff positions following high school graduation, a huge honor!
We strive to build spiritual maturity, leadership and accountability in academics through the cheerleading program. While we work very hard to be the very best we can be, we also have a lot of fun! Go LIONS!

JV Cheer
JV cheerleading was established in 2009, and the squad has competed at a state level competition, won first place in the FCC camp competition, and has received bids to the FCC National Competition. During the school year, the JV squad cheers at volleyball, football, and basketball games. They attend after school practices and tumbling classes. They are also a vital part of pep rallies, Booster Club "spirit sticker" sales, and the Lil' Lion Cheer Clinic. We are dedicated to building up cheerleaders to be women in Christ that are prepared athletically, spiritually, and academically for the move up to the varsity level.

Middle School Cheer
Our Middle School Cheer cheers at football and basketball games and attend after school practices. They are also a vital part of pep rallies and the 'Lil Lion Cheer Clinic. Middle School Cheer is open to all girls who are interested in participating, and provides a foundation for success at the JV/Varsity level. The Cheer program emphasizes Godly character, teamwork, self-discipline and service.
